On safari in Kenya 🇰🇪 lightweight rain jacket, lightweight scarf and cargos are a must.

Cargo pants, combat boots, cotton longsleeve tshirt and a gauzy cotton scarf which is PERFECT for breezy gamedrives. I always kept a fleece jacket in my bag too for once the sun went down.

Africa/safari outfit, light layers perfect for sunny days that might be cool or hot. I don’t like the sun to touch me because I burn so easy so this outfit is lightweight enough but still cool, the scarf is good because it helps if you get a little cold or to keep dust off your face when needed.

My favorite curl cream! Apply to wet hair and twist in sections to create a defined curl. #ltkbeauty

Scarves are nice on a safari because you can use them to cover your face if it’s dusty, but it really my wasn’t for me this trip, however it was a little chilly and sunny so I used it to protect my neck from the sun an it kept me warm. It was my favorite accessory! It’s a silk scarf from free people. I got lots of compliments on it and now I want to wear it back in the US

On safari, you want to wear light layers, mostly neutrals. It can be dusty and hot so lighter layers that are neutral will help keep you cool and also not show dust. Cargo pants are my number 1 recommendation because I put my

- you don’t need a cute purse either you but I brought one for dinners🥰
- combat boots that are waterproof is nice, but they don’t have to be unless you plan to hike, I didn’t hike this trip. If I did I would have brought my hiking boots. I liked some good ones below that I love. These were great for around the lodge and jumping on and off the safari vehicle. And cute enough for fancier outfits. #safarioutfit

Safari outfit🤍 I packed light, but I packed a lot of things that I could make it match throughout the trip to create different outfits. Main things to consider when packing for a Safari are: 1. Comfort (you drive a LOT because of game drives.) 2. Durability (wear pants that are practical for holding things like chapstick, camera and phone.) cargo pants were my bff 3. Layers: it goes from rainy to chilly to hot. Wear layers and bring a little backpack with your rain jacket and a fleece. 4. Colors (neutral any neutral is fine, and even color but avoid red) and for shoes you want to wear closed toe, sneakers are good but I thought boots were better! I don’t recommend a light color boot, they get dusty, but I already had them and didn’t want to purchase a different color. #safarioutfit
