Here’s my story. I’m 50 years old and had been battling arthritis in my hip along with degenerative bursitis. A hip replacement was the last thing I wanted, and I fought it for as long as I could. But eventually, I had no choice but to face it. Outside of this injury, I’m healthy and strong. Before making the decision, I tried everything—physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and even cortisone shots. Those treatments helped for a while, but they were only temporary solutions. At some point, I realized it was time to bet on myself and do what was necessary to truly heal. Today, I’m healing well and even got outside to enjoy the world again this weekend. I’ve graduated from Tammy the walker to Tamika the cane, and that alone feels like a victory. One thing about me—I’m a fighter. Life may knock me down, but it will never keep me there. I truly believe I’m going to come back stronger than before, and I’m grateful I listened to God and trusted the process. LTKootd LTKgrwm
