Mother’s Day is truly a special day. In all the roles I have in this world, being a mother is the one role I value the most. Once I became a mom, all the sacrifices that my own mother made amplified my gratitude a million times over. Boy, the challenges that we go through, not just physically or even financially, but emotionally. I know they say “appreciate your mothers everyday” because it’s true, time is unpredictable and you just never know.. but it’s one day out the year that we can truly show appreciation.

As a mom, material gifts are so appreciated. Anything is appreciated. But please make sure that with that gift is a special card or letter.. because truth be told, that’s really what matters the most. Give what you can afford, but a handwritten letter is free.
