I had been looking at cameras on Facebook marketplace and doing research for months… going back and forth if I actually wanted to invest. I knew I wanted a camera that had similar capabilities to the infamous G7x but I was not willing to pay the price. I wa actually trying to buy a used camera from someone on Facebook & I told him a little bit about what I was looking for and he suggested the Canon R50. I ended up finding it on sale at Target— and was able to apply a teachers back to school 20% off coupon and it came in right under $700. So happy I bought this before our Europe trip. I played around with manual shooting but mostly used auto & warmed up the pictures on iPhone editor. No fancy apps needed!
