I changed my diet when I was trying to get pregnant, then again when I found out I was pregnant, and then AGAIN when the third trimester hit and my body had trouble regulating my blood sugar all the sudden. When I started getting the “3pm crashes” my dr had me cut out carbs and sugars and switch to a protein and veggie only diet. It definitely helped (immediately!) but as a life long runner… ditching the carbs hasn’t been easy 😅 I also love my oatmeal and berries for breakfast and my granolas that had a lot of sugars hiding in them. Nutrail granola has been a huge game changer for me during this transition!! It tastes amazing so I’m not cranky about eating it but it has 15g of protein and virtually no sugars!
