Mom Lessons: Don’t cut corners on diapers & have a good cleaning plan.

Blow outs are inevitable or are they?

I cut corners trying other diapers rather than sticking to what I know works and I paid for it. BUT I also have my clean up plan in @missmouths and @dropps.

Monster blow out? No problem. Clothes saved 🙌🏽

I roll with the pitcher method, but don’t give me a pitcher… I don’t want something for a single season. Simple glass jars do the job perfectly. Add storage bins to contain all the things and any mess is a bonus.

Whatever fits in the budget is great. Honestly, the $30 hand pump is stellar. I used the Spectra round 1. This time the @elvie is so helpful with a toddler on the loose. Pumping isn’t fun no matter how you slice it, so find what works and roll with it.

I built this shelf for $20 this summer.
Used old frames I’ve had in storage.
Found a decorative bowl I had staged on another shelf.
Printed happy & intentional photos of our big boy.
And just last week found this lamp that the room has very much needed.

Kendrick’s big boy room truly becoming his and watching him in this space that I have so intentionally been building brings such joy to my heart ♥️
