I was recently invited to tour Spark Academy of Morton , and ever since they opened I’ve been eager to get inside and see the facility for myself.

On Friday I finally had the chance to walk through it, and I have to say, I was impressed.

Spark Academy is not only aesthetically beautiful, but it’s clear the environment was designed with intention. The space reflects a focus on enrichment, curiosity, and academic excellence, not just childcare.

After spending over two decades in early childhood education, I don’t walk into programs looking at paint colors and décor. I look at how the environment supports learning, independence, and exploration for children. Spark clearly understands that philosophy.

It’s refreshing to see a program that values both thoughtful design and meaningful learning experiences for young children.
