Ok, so this is my most favorite dress for a photoshoot that I have ever gotten from Amazon. It’s just so flattering! And you can move around easily in it, the skirt actually falls right, it’s a great fabric. And most importantly, it actually looks great in real Photoshoots! Just check the reviews. It’s the only dress I’ve ever tried from Amazon that I feel could be in a client closet. 🤩 And just a note…make sure that black works for your photographers editing style, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t, you can just ask them what colors you should avoid for your photoshoot. I looovvveee this dress! Gonna order some more colors to show you 😉 I’m 5’0 and this is a size small.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful mama’s out there! This is the OOTD for our Mother’s Day brunch. It’s a Photoshoot dress of course…but one that I feel works for regular dress up occasions too. I didn’t wear the sleeves down today, but for Photoshoots that’s the way I would. My hubby surprised me with a brunch at our favorite place today so I dressed everyone up and we had a great time. 😍 Hope you had a great day too.

I had to share these outfits that I found while working with a client recently. They are just too good and all from Amazon, so if you are in a pinch you’ll get them quick. This was made using one of my favorite palettes in Mood Board Magic, it’s full of rich colors that work really well together. I’ve used Mom’s dress here before for another client but in a different pattern and it fits so well and photographs even better. I love the new pattern they came out with…and it goes very well with these two girl dresses. 😍

Ok, this dress is not only great for a Family Photoshoot…but pretty much any other time you want to wear a dress. Church, family dinner, date night or just a park play date when you want to keep cool but still look cute. 🥰 It is a bit bright so make sure that it works with your photographers editing style and the location.

They are great for every day but also for spring and summer family photoshoots. I like to stick with neutral shoes most of the time for Photoshoots since they give you a long leg line. So, find shoes that are close to your skin color to get that effect. 😍

There’s no support in the front, you’d need to either go braless or get a backless bra….but…it’s a stunning dress for a photoshoot. I wear mine with a sweater for some coverage. Just a great all around dress, light fabric, comfy fit that’s true to size and makes a great dress for a photoshoot when you are short on time and just gotta get it done! I love the color too, it’s a perfect neutral that will work for most editing styles. Works for a Family Photoshoot, Newborn or Maternity Session, both indoors and out. Comfort plus camera-ready ✅

The last thing I want to worry about for a Family Photoshoot are the outfits. It used to be the most stressful part of the entire process. But now it’s the most fun and easy part of the whole thing!

I’ve been trying out dresses and stores for a few years now and keeping track of what works and what doesn’t. Like this dress. My daughter is very sensitive to “scratchy” fabrics and sometimes that makes it hard to find her the right clothes. So, I’m always searching for the softest fabrics I can find and this dress fit the bill.

Because if she isn’t comfortable the pictures are going to show that. I want her to be free to not even think about what she is wearing so we have fun instead of just powering through the photoshoot. It’s about making memories not wearing something purely for the way it looks.

I have a few tests I do when working with clients to choose the outfits for a family Photoshoot, and this is one of them. The “sit test”. When you are at your Photoshoot you’ll be moving around and sitting for poses so it’s good to see how your dress works for sitting shots. And this dress passed the test. It’s long enough to cover your legs pretty well and falls nicely, it’s comfortable and flattering and works for baby bumps too! A keeper! 😍

I always recommend this style of dress for Photoshoots to clients, especially when they are in a rush and need a dress ASAP. It’s looks great on everyone, is super comfy and you can use it again. This is the Amazon version but I also linked the original from Free People, it’s thicker and better quality.
