Sunday ootd!

I’m 42… and I’m finally admitting this:

1. I had my son young… and had to grow up fast.

2. There was a season I had to start over… with nothing but faith.

3. I’ve poured into everyone else for years.

4. I’m just now learning how to choose me.

5. I used to think it was too late for me.

6. I’ve had to rebuild more times than I can count.

7. I’m becoming the woman I prayed to be.

8. I’m learning to love the version of me I once doubted.

9. My journey didn’t break me… it built me.

10. And I’m not done yet.

Because even in my lowest moments…
I always believed there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

My faith never left me.
And I never stopped trying… no matter how hard it got.

I was running a little late this morning, so I didn’t get a chance to film my get ready with me before church.

But today’s word was such a powerful reminder.

As we go through life and walk in our purpose here on earth, we have to always remember to put God first. He is the one true and living God, and a jealous God. Nothing should come before Him.

It was such a great teaching and a beautiful reminder to start every day giving Him thanks and praise.
