Yesterday was not a typical event in LALA world, but it was raw, wholesome and rewarding. I was asked to participate in a local elementary school career day showing fifth graders you can put your love and talent into a job that you are truly passionate about. It felt weird at first to be back in a classroom, but to say it was rewarding was an understatement. I was able to hear the children discuss their love for art, answered all of their questions and even saw original artwork from some of the students truly passionate about artistry. When I was done with career day, I was able to pop in and visit a dear friend and her class, where they treated me like a complete rock star and asked me for my autograph, I think they thought I was someone famous but I’ll totally take it 😉. In a world troubled by hate, it was truly humbling to have been able to bring a little light into some of these beautiful young minds. I truly love what I do!
