Sunday pizzzza night 🍕 Since I started my cooking adventures with learning how to make the pizza for our Sunday family night, I’ve had a lot of Q’S about how to make the dough from scratch. So here we go!! How to make dough: 1st- Get all of your ingredients out on the counter and turn on the hot water (you want it HOT) In the mixer: Add 1 package of yeast 1 cup of HOT tap water Whisk it together and let it proof You’ll know it’s ready when it comes together! Then add 2 tbsp of olive oil, large pinch of salt, and 2 1/2 cups of flour. (Amount of flour can vary based on humidity) Turn the mixer on low and slowly increase as it gathers and climbs the dough hook. Spray your bowl with olive oil, remove dough and form into a ball. Place in the bowl and turn it over once or twice to coat the outside. Cover tightly with plastic wrap (I’m always clumsy here 🤪) and top it off with a dish cloth. Then go grab a glass of wine while it rises!! Check back… you back it to double in size. Once it’s ready remove covers and punch it! 👊 Remove the dough and form it in a ball. Place it on a pre-prepped counter top coated with flour so it doesn’t stick. Today we’re making a small and large pizza, so I divided it into the two sizes. Roll it out! Side note- If your roller sticks, add a little flour. Coat your pizza pan with olive oil so it doesn’t stick. Add your rolled out dough, pinch the edges, and lightly spray with olive oil for golden edges. Then add your preferred toppings! Bake and enjoy!! 🤩 Dough Ingredients: Active dry yeast Organic King Arthur all purpose flour Kosher coarse salt Lucini organic extra virgin olive oil 365 organic extra virgin olive oil (for spraying) cookingfromscratch farmlifestyle LTKHome LTKParties LTKFamily
