This is exactly why I try things on. 😂 On the hanger, I was fully prepared to walk right past this jacket. But ON?? Completely different story. Total YES.

These look SO much alike... but the price tags definitely don’t. 👀 The iconic YSL suede loafers are beautiful, but at around $1,200, I went looking for the look for less. And y’all... I found it on Amazon for $52.

Same rich brown suede look, the same easy slip-on style, and these are SO good with jeans, trousers, dresses... basically everything I’m wearing this fall.

For me, this was an easy SAVE.

Yes, we talk about clothes. A LOT. 😂 I’ll always show you the splurge, the save, the Walmart find I can’t believe is Walmart, and normalizing options in life that many aren’t willing to talk about.

But it’s never really been about the clothes. At some point early on, I realized this little corner of the internet was becoming about a lot more than what we wear.

It’s about this season of life.

Figuring out who we are now. Trying new things. Laughing at ourselves. Taking the trip. Wearing the outfit. Singing ridiculous song challenges into our phones. 😂 And maybe caring a little less about who we thought we were supposed to be and embracing who we always have been before the weight of others’ expectations set in.

I definitely don’t have midlife figured out, but I’m determined to have a lot of fun while doing it.

And if there’s one thing I hope you feel when you’re here, it’s that you aren’t alone and getting older doesn’t mean becoming less of yourself.

I think we get to become MORE.

$Don’t tell Walmart… but I came in to pick up a few things and ended up showing you Amazon again 🙈 Because explain to me why this skirt looks like something I’d grab at Anthro… but it’s actually a fraction of the price?? I was just minding my business (very convincingly, I might add)… and just had to share 😂 The print is so good. It’s one of those pieces that instantly makes your outfit feel more styled without even trying. And it’s lightweight, easy to wear, and actually comfortable (which we love). I’ve been sharing this facial balancing process because I think it’s important to show that it really is a process, not something you do once and suddenly you’re “done.” 🤍

I went back to @weilerplasticsurgery to see Jenn and this time we focused on my lower face, specifically the submalar area and jawline. As we age, we naturally lose volume in different areas of the face, and the goal for me has never been to change the way I look. It’s about making small adjustments over time and seeing what makes sense as we go.

And y’all know I’m going to tell you the whole truth. 😂 Did this part hurt? YES. Am I obsessed with how it turned out? Also yes.

I love that we’re taking this slowly and treating facial balancing exactly like that: balance. Little tweaks, reassess, and decide what, if anything, we want to do next.

I’ll keep bringing y’all along because I know so many women in midlife are curious about these options but want to actually SEE the process, ask questions, and know what to expect before deciding whether it’s something they’re interested in.

Okay, I found them. 🙌🏻 If you’ve been looking for work pants that are actually comfortable, still look really good, and that you’ll want to wear everywhere else too, these are SO good.

I found these @g4free_official pants on Amazon, and this is exactly the kind of thing I love finding. Put them with a button-down and a heel and they’re great for work. Change the top, add sneakers, and you could literally wear them anywhere.

They’re stretchy, breathable, pretty wrinkle resistant, and come in petite, regular AND tall lengths. And at under $40, these are a no-brainer. They come in a bunch of colors too, so trust me, you’re going to want more than one. 😂

The Manolo Blahnik Maysale mules are gorgeous, 100% suede and $950. But when I found this look for less on Amazon for $51, you know I had to compare them.

The Amazon pair is faux suede, so no, we are not pretending they’re the exact same shoe. But the pointed toe, buckle detail, kitten heel and overall look are pretty darn close for an $899 difference.

And here’s something I actually love about the Amazon pair: they come in whole AND half sizes and 6 colors. The Manolos come in 10 colors, but only whole half sizes.

For $51? I’m saving. 😂
