Baked Mostaccoli What you'll need: 1 lb penne 3 tbs butter 2 cloves of garlic, grated 2 14oz can of crushed tomatoes 2 cups of freshly shredded mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 cups half and half 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes Salt and pepper to taste Here's how you make it: Preheat oven to 350. 1. Boil water, cook pasta 1/2 of recommended cooking time. 2. In a saucepan add the butter and garlic and stir for 1 minute. Add in crushed red pepper flakes, stir. Then add in the canned tomatoes. Let simmer on low for 10 minutes. 3. Add in the half and half and stir to combine. 4. Add pasta into the sauce and mix well. 5. Pour pasta into a baking dish. This can finish cooking in the oven or be refrigerated until ready to bake and serve. 6. Top with cheese and bake for 25-35 minutes or until cheese has browned and and is bubbling.
