Turn trick-or-treat buckets into spooky floating lanterns with this simple DIY! 🕯️

**Here's how:**

1. **Gather Supplies:** You’ll need Halloween trick-or-treat buckets, battery-operated puck lights, and clear fishing line.

2. **Add the Lights:** Place a puck light inside each bucket. Use adhesive strips if needed to keep the lights in place.

3. **Prepare the Fishing Line:** Cut a length of fishing line and tie it securely to the handle of each bucket.

4. **Drill Weep Holes (Optional):** To prevent water from collecting, drill or puncture a small hole in the bottom of each bucket so rain can drain out.

5. **Hang the Buckets:** I looped mine around tree branches for a floating effect, but you can also use command hooks or nails to hang the fishing line from the ceiling, porch, or wherever you like.

6. **Turn on the Lights:** Switch on the puck lights for a spooky, glowing lantern effect!
