How to use Tarte Shape Tape on mature skin ✨
At 50, I’ve learned you can’t apply concealer the same way as the young ones—and that’s okay 😉 it’s all about technique.
Use a shade a couple tones lighter than your skin for that lifted effect. Instead of loading it under your eyes, place it on the outer corners and blend UP to lift. Add a little to your nose, forehead, chin, and upper lip, then blend it all in for a soft glow.
I also like to place a few dots above the arch of my brow and blend up—instant lift.
If you have dark circles, use a color corrector first. Heavy concealer under the eyes can look tight and dry, so think less coverage, more strategy.
It’s all about creating lift with light and placement… a little optical illusion magic ✨
