From my LTK storefront to the garden, this week has been a reminder that growth requires patience. 🌿✨

After all the rain, my zucchini plants have completely taken over their corner of the garden. They’re growing beautifully, but not without challenges. I’ve been dealing with mildew spots, dropped blossoms, pests, and all the little surprises that come with gardening. Today I staked them upright, trimmed away damaged leaves, and reminded myself that every season comes with lessons.

One of the biggest lessons this week has been learning to let go. My broccoli raab has given me at least five harvests and is now flowering. As much as I’ve enjoyed it, it’s time to make room for something new. Sometimes growth means creating space for what’s next.

This week I:
🌱 Succession planted broccoli, collards, and kale
🌱 Pruned tomatoes after all the rain-fueled growth
🌱 Found a hidden nasturtium tucked beneath my collards
🌱 Repotted my hibiscus, which is already sending out new shoots
🌱 Added ivy to my terra-cotta planter for a finished look

On the sourdough front, Champion Bubbler got fed this morning and a honey wheat loaf is currently in progress. I’m working through stretch-and-folds today and enjoying the slower rhythm that baking brings.

My birthday flowers from last weekend are also still going strong. I gave them fresh water, flower food, trimmed the stems, and moved them into a fresh vase. They have been such a joy throughout the week. Whether I’m cooking dinner, folding laundry, washing dishes, or tidying up around the house, catching a glimpse of them always makes me smile.

The outfit, the garden, the sourdough, the flowers, the pool days, and the everyday homemaking moments all remind me that a beautiful life is built one small habit at a time.

One thing about me… if I see a plant on clearance with a little life left in it, there’s a good chance it’s coming home with me. 😆

This palm was marked down to $7, and after a little pruning, watering, and TLC, she’s already looking happier. Gardening has taught me that growth takes patience, consistency, and showing up day after day… kind of like fitness.

From seed to harvest 🌱✨

Last season I grew these amaranth (callaloo) seeds on the farm, and I loved them so much that I ordered them again from Amazon for this year’s garden. There is something incredibly rewarding about planting a tiny seed and watching it grow into food you can harvest for your family.

Today I harvested fresh callaloo, and my heart is full of gratitude. 💚 I’m hoping to keep the harvest going by saving the roots and encouraging continuous growth throughout the season.

Gardening continues to teach me patience, consistency, and the joy of nurturing something from the ground up. Every harvest feels like a small victory.

Started the morning with a challenging workout at the gym and whew… growth really lives on the other side of discomfort 💪🏽✨ The fit lifestyle isn’t always easy, but showing up consistently changes everything.

Rainy day workouts just hit different 🌧️💪

Wore one of my all-time favorite Gymshark sets today for my homework workout and honestly… this set still holds up SO well. I’ve had it for a couple years now and the color has never faded. We love activewear that can survive the wash cycle and still perform for everyday life 🙌

Paired it with my Adidas and headed outside in between rain showers. It was gloomy, the garden probably collected 100 gallons of water, and the pool was basically overflowing 😂 but one thing staying consistent right now is my fitness no matter what the weather is doing.

Today’s workout:
• 30 minutes on the bike
• stretching + recovery work
• survived a brutal morning leg session 😅

By the end my legs were absolute jelly, but we kept going anyway. Some days it’s not about perfection — it’s just about showing up.

This flowy dress with the elastic waistband is the perfect mix of comfortable and feminine. Easy enough for lounging at home, reading outside, tending to the garden, or casual church days.

I popped the umbrella open by the pool today and spent some time reading Atomic Habits while listening to the birds and honestly… my nervous system needed every second of it.

And did I mention the broccoli rabe harvest? 🥬
This was probably our FOURTH harvest and I think the bitterness is finally growing on me 😂 The first few times definitely caught me off guard, but this time? It was actually delightful.

I sautéed it in olive oil with:
🌿 fresh thyme from the garden
🧅 onion + scallion
🍋 lemon
🧂 salt + pepper

…then finished it with feta on top. SO good.

We paired it with:
🥖 fresh homemade sourdough bread
🐟 grilled mackerel
🐟 fresh-cut redfish

Just one of those simple, beautiful meals that reminds you how blessed life really is. I’m so thankful for these little moments lately 🌿
