Sorry. I had to get this off my chest. This app is so bizarre and fake. Come on guys- how many of you write your own first five comments, hide your likes, like and comment on similar accounts so that they like and comment on your account so that the algorithm is nice to you??? It’s no longer women supporting women. It’s all about tricking the algorithm. And then everyone wants to be an influencer and starts out here on this platform. They succumb to buying followers. You do not start out being a fashion influencer with 10K plus followers immediately. But I don’t understand why anyone would do that. Fake accounts will not truly support your business, so what is the point? None of this makes any sense, and I know these are taboo things to talk about, but I feel like it’s time. When I started my account for fashion, it was simply with photos. I would get 5000 views and 500+ likes within 20 minutes. I am now down to roughly 500 views in 24 hours on average, unless I show something about my personal life and then suddenly my account gains traction. Why? Fortunately I truly a YouTuber, but having an OG account t is also necessary. I’m thinking of going back to simple photos and not wasting my time filming reels. Anyone else? Let me know if you’re experiencing IG fatigue. I’d love to know.
