POV: Some weeks feel a little harder than others. When my husband is traveling and the house is still and quiet, I do my best to keep moving — cleaning, decorating, checking things off — but the silence has a way of reminding me who I’m missing. The memories and laughter of raising boys echo deep in my heart, and I carry them with me always… it keeps the time moving! I never imagined that this season of being an empty nester would stretch me the way it has. It’s pushed me to try things I never thought I’d do, to accomplish things I never thought I could, and to find JOY in new little hobbies that somehow grew into something so much bigger. Most of all, it’s given me the gift of connection with women near and far who are walking through the same seasons of motherhood and for that, my “empty” feels quite F U L L . 🤍 I am thankful!
