POV: Just a little snippet of my day… Life without my college kids feels a little like Groundhog Day sometimes. No breakfast requests, no morning chaos… just coffee, quiet prayers, and choosing the perfect mug that somehow always matches my heart.

Advent has a way of bringing hope to the mundane, and I’m so thankful for the small, redeeming moments God tucks into these ordinary days. Then it was off to Learning Land, where gingerbread, fun, and all the holiday magic filled the halls. I’ll forever love our themed dress-up days—I get an A+ for going all out… except pajama day. I simply won’t do it. 😂 After a quick doctor appointment, I came home to a quiet house—the kind of quiet that still surprises me in this empty-nest season. I gathered my packages, filmed a little content, and squeezed in a run before settling in for the night. And through it all, I felt that familiar tug… the one that reminds me just how much I miss my boys. I can feel it in my bones—Christmas doesn’t fully start for me until my two favorite big kids are home. 🤍 Just a simple day… but a good one. And now the countdown is officially on.
