POV: Just in my empty-nest era learning to find beauty in the simple, ordinary days. My mornings always start with quiet time, coffee, and prayer and it is truly what steadies my heart before the day begins. I just started a new devotional called Wildflower, and I love how it reminds me that God’s presence isn’t just in the big, beautiful moments — it’s in the small ones too. Today’s words said, “You don’t have to force growth. You just have to stay rooted.” And that’s exactly what I needed. A reminder that grace meets me in the middle of the mess and that he gives me everything I need, every single day. I don’t need to worry.

So from a busy day in Learning Land to a cozy night at home making taco soup, I felt his peace in every little moment of this ordinary day
