I didn’t document every single moment of this cruise, but I documented a few. And I’m so thankful I did.

This day started at beautiful Lookout Cay, where we decided to splurge on a cabana. It’s not something we normally do, but every once in a while it’s fun to say yes to making a memory. We spent the day soaking in the turquoise water, exploring the island, and even stumbled upon what felt like a hidden little gem.

Then it was back to the ship for Pirate Night. Between the music, the laughter, and the sweetest dining team who kept us entertained all evening (and somehow made our grown boys laugh like little kids again), it was another reminder of why we keep coming back.

That’s the thing about Disney. Whether you’re five, fifty, or somewhere in between, they have a way of making every age feel a little more magical.

We ended the night watching fireworks over the ocean, and as I looked around at my people, I couldn’t help but think… these are the moments I’ll remember long after the trip is over.

There’s something about blue that I always go to! I’ve run up some of my favorites this season thus far, and they could all be designer or from Walmart that’s the funny thing you cannot tell. These are perfect for Summer and all that you have planned.

When Lawton asked what I wanted for my birthday, my answer was easy… Time with my people.

As the boys have gotten older, our schedules have gotten busier, and finding a few days when everyone is free has become harder than ever. We looked at the calendar, found one little window that worked, and booked one of our happiest places.

For us, a cruise isn’t just a vacation. It’s uninterrupted time together. Morning coffee, long dinners, late-night laughs, exploring new places, and making memories without everyone running in a different direction.

People always say, “There are only 18 summers.” And while I understand what they mean, I’ve found something beautiful on the other side of that. The summers don’t stop being special when they grow up. In so many ways, they become even sweeter.

And that will always be my favorite gift.
