POV: A day in my life while Lawton was working… I started the morning the only way I know how with my fave prayers! Then, I laced up my shoes, met my friend, and ran in the park for the first time in forever!! I more excited about it than I expected. Next, I came home, changed, got ready, grabbed my favorite smoothie, and headed to the mall on a mission to find a dress for next weekend. Whew, I tried on so many, narrowed it down, and finally picked the one. Lastly, I snuck into Loft for a few cute finds (and even Old Navy — not pictured), grabbed dinner at Chipotle, squeezed in fresh nails, and then it was straight home for the best kind of evening…a cozy fire, heated blanket, Broncos game on so I could text my boys, and waiting for Lawton to get home. Finally, It may have looked like a full day, but it was really just my way of filling the quiet keeping my hands busy and my heart steady in this empty-nest season while the boys were away and the house felt a little too still.
