This is how I’ve been keeping my hair healthy:
1. I have never dyed my hair, which surely must have helped. I have had many temptations over the years, but have opted out and I am grateful to myself for staying strong🤭

2. I have my showers in the evenings, which means I can let my hair air dry as I am not in a rush to go anywhere. Of course if on an odd occasion I am in a rush or getting ready for an event, I would use a hairdryer.

3. I always use a shampoo and a conditioner - I find it helps reduce breakage when brushing it. I try to use more premium brands, but also find that some of the supermarket brands make my hair look lovely, too. The trick is that I never stick to the same shampoo and conditioner for over a couple of months. Rotating brands and shampoo types works best for me.

4. Controversial - I have always brushed my hair when it’s wet. It’s the only way I can detangle it. Detangling hair brushes are brilliant for that.

5. I own lots of hair products other than shampoos and conditioners but I use them moderately and sparingly. Too much of a good thing can become overwhelming for my hair and affects its quality. I linked all products I use regularly here.

6. My hair is naturally very straight and we always want something we don’t have, don’t we? So, I do love my hair curled sometimes. I try not to overdo with heated curling tools and whenever I use them, I use heat protect sprays. I also try to use heatless curlers when I can (although those can be annoying🤭).
