I went way out of my comfort zone tonight and attended an event by myself where I knew NOBODY. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I walked in and immediately pretended like I was looking for someone I knew ( there was no one) and then decided my next best option was to go to the bar. While I was waiting a girl came up to me and smiled and asked if I’d had the welcome drink ( I sure as heck had not).She walked me over and we got a cup. Then, posted up at a table, another girl walk by on her own and we asked if she wanted to join us. And then another, and another. This is what I absolutely love about Southwest Florida. So many people are new and open to meeting and including others. It was a fun evening kicking off @sizzledining !
