I loved this shirt… and still returned it. If you’ve been here a while, you know I’m very intentional about what earns a place in my wardrobe. Loving something isn’t always enough — it has to truly work for me. I actually styled a client in this exact shirt yesterday. She’s 5’10”, size 10, we sized down and she looked incredible in it. ✨ So yes — the shirt is great. But when it comes to my own wardrobe, any potential new piece has to pass my 4-question test: 1️⃣ Can I style it with at least 3 other pieces I already own? 2️⃣ Does it fit well straight off the rack? 3️⃣ Does it fill a genuine gap in my wardrobe? 4️⃣ Does it make me feel great when I put it on? For me, it has to tick all 4. Sadly, on my body shape, the fit just wasn’t right — even though I really wanted it to and therefore I didn’t feel great in it. And that’s okay. - great fit
- easy colour
- quality hardware
- the sleeve and waist elastic gathered seams were thick so good for styling

If you run hot and your looking for an easy option to wear day to night - this lace shirt is easy.
I’d remove the cami that comes with it and wear it as a jacket with your own top underneath. Style with jeans, trousers or faux/leather bottoms.
I tried a size 6 and it was true to size.

I love COS for menswear – they have great quality wardrobe basics year round that are easy to outfit and look polished.

Layering is a simple way to add colour and interest to your outfits. I try to stick with 3 block colours and mixing textures looks chic.

The pieces I chose;

SLIM MERINO WOOL POLO SHIRT $139 Burgundy Size M
COS have these tops year round and they fit beautifully on the body. These can be worn with denim, chinos or under a suit. Our model is wearing a size M. They are true to size.

DENIM SHIRT $150 in Rinsed Blue Size S
This is more of a shacket than a shirt. This can be worn as a shirt or layered with a tee, long sleeve top or Oxford style shirt underneath. Size up if you’re wanting to layer with a hoodie.

JERSEY HARRINGTON JACKET $159 in Dark Green size M
This jacket could be worn with everything from activewear to business casual. A fabulous piece to throw on and go.

100% Australian Merino Polo Sweater in Grey $49.90
I love this knit, it looks luxe, is machine washable, lightweight, easy to layer. I only like this in grey, black or navy.
I tried the XS my usual size but preferred it in the size S for a little more drape.
Cotton Blend short parka in Grey $79.90
A nice addition to your workout wardrobe. I tried the size XS and it was spot on. I like that you can cinch in the waist with the toggles and I’m all about a funnel neck.
Baggy Curve Jeans (Barrel Leg) in blue $59.90 (comes in 2 leg lengths and 5 washes)
Loved the softness of the denim. I tried the size 24 inch waist and I’m a size 6 so it was spot on.

I’m all about a good quality affordable basic like these tanks from Assembly Label.

These are all $35 and come in sizes 6-16 with lots of colours to choose from. I loved the super soft fabric.

Here’s what I tried;

Tank 1 – Charlie Rib Tank in Espresso size 6
Tank 2 – Robyn Scoop neck in White size 8 (I always size up in white tanks so they look less clingy)
Tank 3 – Mara Rib Tank in Charcoal Marle size 6
Look 4 – Layered the Charlie Tank in grey size 6 over Robyn Scoop in White size 8

Style Tips:
Layering tanks with a pop of colour will add a styled element to your look
Don’t worry about the size – go for the fit and the shape that suits your body and the types of bras you like to wear. And if you don’t need a bra – lucky you!
