The Gingerbread Shoppe is live on the blog and many of the items I used for the event are linked at the end of the post! I really enjoyed looking back at this event, thinking about how far my business has come in a year, all the lessons I’ve learned and memories made! Due to severe imposter syndrome, this event almost didn’t happen. I had the idea and then sat on it wondering if it was the right move for several weeks. I had not shared anything about this with my sweet grandmother, but in November 2023 she sent me a card in the mail saying she was thinking about me and included a picture of the two of us making a gingerbread house when I was a little girl. I have very fond memories of us building and decorating gingerbread houses over the years. It felt like God giving me permission to move forward- There was room for me in this space. I was scared to make the wrong decisions with my business, but this picture from my grandmother gave me the courage to proceed. I am so thankful for this divine intervention and for my grandmother’s unending love and support. Doesn’t God have a way of using sweet grandmothers to bless us? 💖 Photo credit @carolinebattenphotography Backdrop & Balloons @airwithflairdecor Florals @petalparcel Venue @thecupcakeshopperaleigh LTKParties LTKFamily LTKKids
