I used the skinny ouchless stretchy headbands from Walmart to anchor the scarf, then tied it. I actually tried several types and sizes of headbands prior to this one. This one is thin enough to be undetected under the scarf, but just thick enough for me to grab and pull down because you will likely have to adjust it once it's tied.
