I am determined to see my hair GROW this year. So I’m committing to the mini twist lifestyle for the foreseeable future.

Mini twists are a low maintenance, low tension protective style that allows you to enjoy your hair without the threat of breakage.

This install took just under 5 hours and honestly, they’re not as small as I’d like them to be 🤭 but this may be one of my favorite installs!

I do not add any hair - as you can see, i have more than enough 😭

Since I don’t plan on rocking this as a twist out later, i prefer to braid the root about 1/2 inch and then start twisting. I have 3b/3c texture and sometimes those twists like to slip at the roots. The braid keeps the style looking neater for longer. I use grease on my scalp, a cream on the length and a gel to seal the ends.
