We went with moody & bright for Liv’s room! I love layering rugs and find one of the best combinations is a vintage patterned rug (like Persian) with a natural woven rug (like jute) seen here in Liv’s room and reading nook. It adds texture and makes the space feel extra cozy for when she’s walking and crawling around.

We got ours from Birch Lane, part of the Wayfair family, and used them in both our powder bath (featured here) and primary bathrooms. It comes in a variety of colors/finishes; we chose white to complement the shiplap and not take away from the brass accents and darker ‘Inkwell’ colored vanity alongside the natural leather-textured granite ‘Arctic Ocean’.
