Our Disney non-negotiables with kids 🏰❤️

After doing Disney with four kids, we’ve learned that we don’t need to fill every minute with rides and attractions. Some of our favorite memories are the completely unplanned moments!

We let the kids run around, watch the parades, stop for random entertainment, and just be kids. We splurge on special drinks sometimes, never skip our water park day, and always make time for the pool. 💦

We might rope drop one day, but otherwise we let the kids decide when they’re ready to call it a night. Sometimes we’re closing down the parks, and sometimes we’re back at the pool early. 😂

Disney doesn’t have to be go-go-go to be magical. ❤️

We love Disney clothes and themed outfits, but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money buying them once we’re already in the parks. Bringing them from home also helps with those “I want that!” moments. 😂

🫧🏰 One more Disney thing we bring from home every trip!

We started reusing our Disney bubble wands instead of buying a new one every time we visit the parks. We’ve had these for multiple trips, and even though one of our Olaf wands doesn’t blow bubbles anymore, it still lights up and the kids love it! 😂

We also noticed that the parks don’t necessarily have completely different bubble wands every year, so if we already have one at home, there’s really no reason to buy another.

And here’s my favorite mom trick: we bring them from home so the kids already have their bubble wands waiting for them. It definitely helps cut down on the “Can I get one?!” requests once we’re in the parks. 🙌
