Embracing The In Between • Late summer is one of my favorite decorating season. It’s that in between time where I’m over summer and ready for fall but it isn’t quite appropriate to decorate for fall just yet. My new planters are simple, elevated and timeless. They are the perfect addition to our home.

A few simple changes such as a beautiful planter, layered textures, and warm grasses are all it takes to create a cozy front entry that still feels true to summer but easily transitions into early fall before pumpkins take over.

Love a layered bed but not the heat? I got you! It’s no secret a layered bed is my jam. We love the weight of the blankets when we sleep but in the summer months it can get a little warm. I found the best quilts from Amazon that look designer but are breathable for the warmer months.

The Mili Quilt is the perfect summer addition to our bedroom. The subtle pattern and neutral colors blends seamlessly with our lake homes style. I layered the white and beige colors.

After a few changes at the lake I decided to go with a bit darker shade of curtains. The color is called Oak Dim and the darker shade of brown is such a better fit for the space!

They are unlined to let light through, have a triple pinch pleat and are memory shaped. We were able to customize the size specifically for our windows. They are the perfect upgrade to this space.
