We love a mom swag moment!

Most days I try my darndest to put on actual clothes and not sweatpants or leggings, but today I needed some breathing room because my legs are so sore from my workout

I’m not big on perfume at all. Yet, I really appreciate smelling wonderful!

I started wearing an amber roll-on perfume oil in 2019, my midwife wore it and the smell enamored me! I ended up using a different roll-on perfume of the same amber scent.

I have now just added a layer of patchouli to my line-up for the perfect, earthy, bright, feminine scent!

Ok—I was sleeping on HOKAS! They are so comfortable, how?!?

Now I had to search far and wide for these guys, they were a limited edition collab with Free People that released in 2023.

I ended up finding them on EBay for $94!!!

I wore them for my bodybuilding competition and I’m so thankful I did because now I can wear them for fun!

Ok, so, how I thrift is I skim through the items I *need* to find patterns or colors that stick out immediately.

I have been swapping my clothes for natural fibers over the past years, and besides most workout clothes, I keep to that rule 99%% of the time!!

I try to wear outfits that are comfortable to shop in, take off and put on easily to try things on, too.

Church Fit but make is ✨summer✨

I’m realllly squeaking out as many outfits as I can with what’s left that fits in my closet!

I bought this skirt two years ago in Mexico, and to my utter surprise, it’s falling off (hence the belt!)

This tank is my go-to, to my surprise. This color was so out of my comfort zone when I first bought it, but now I’m a sucker for chartreuse 😍

I’m finally styling these platform slides I thrifted two weeks ago! I am enjoying them so much! They are so funky and bold to me.

My older kids and I can’t get over how adorable the baby’s new sippy cup is!

My youngest child has cerebral palsy, and I’ve been learning what I can about adaptive equipment to help her learn how to use her hands, learn how to drink independently, and more!

My friend suggested trying this cup, and while she’s still getting the hang of using it, she at least looks darn cute while doing it!

I’m not afraid to thrift for shoes because I know what to look for and I know a good system to clean and sanitize them!

Some shoes I can throw in the washing machine, but some things need to be hand washed and treated very delicately so that the dye doesn’t run or the shoes don’t get mildewed.

Ask me how I know!

For these sandals, I first sprayed them with stain remover as the soles were pretty grimy.

Then I sprinkled them with borax and followed it up with a scrubbing with my favorite buff city soap laundry detergent.

Now, they are currently laying in the sun to dry, and when that is finished, will get put in the shoe drawer!

This week’s thrift finds!

I have mentioned before that this past year I have lost about 45 pounds

This summer, I am finally revamping my wardrobe, buying things that fit and flatter my new body!

Before I buy anything new, I have been diligent to sell what I can and bring the rest to clothes swaps with friends or donate them.

I sold $6 worth of clothing at one of my favorite thrift stores in town and with the proceeds put them towards these three pieces that I really enjoyed.

I have been challenging myself to buy clothes that have color and pattern and accentuate a rather eclectic and bold fashion style.

I can’t wait to style these pieces!

Summer officially started yesterday and I have been so motivated to fill my kid’s season in the heat with as much whimsy and childhood magic as possible!

For starters, you gotta get a solid bubble machine because bubbles make everything more magical, am I right? 🫧

I found this bubble machine through a friend’s suggestion and it holds up to her standard for fun! It can blow bubbles for about five hours, it does not require batteries you plug it in and it is very lightweight.

I highly recommend it!

I got the shoe spray at a clothes swap a.k.a. that means it was free!

I was definitely influenced to buy this baby sanitizing spray and thank God for that because I use this product like crazy! I need to get some to put in my car in my diaper bag to have on hand always it’s really that superb!

Mom’s got some new sunnies!

I have never, once ever, bought myself a nice pair of sunglasses. I usually just get whatever I can find from target or Old Navy—bonus points if it’s clearance!

Snagged these cuties at my last clothes swap with some girlfriends, not knowing that these were a really nice pair of sunglasses!

I mean, they had a cute little case and were barely worn and I couldn’t just leave them there!

Now that I have done some cross examination, I am pinching myself because what do you mean I got $100 pair of sunglasses for free?!

What do we think about the aviator style? I haven’t ordered a pair of aviator glasses since college but I think I can pull them off?! Right?!

Hi, I’m K and I like to dress like a camp counselor to bring my kids to school drop off 😆

This summer (so like, next week) my goal is to start finding clothes that fit my new body and sense of style so I can stop looking like Ned Flanders.

I lost 40lbs this year, and I’m acclimating to my new figure!

I cut whatever cried. My kids were passing around last week and stocked up my Walmart delivery with many immune boosting go to as I could to help me kick this thing.

I scored this Jura Impressa Z6 coffee machine on Facebook marketplace a few weeks ago and have been loving it!

Yeah, it’s definitely an older model, but let me tell you it makes a solid cup of coffee!

It’s really helpful that it has a hot water dispenser too!

In an effort to keep my Australian shepherds occupied and fighting against each other less, I ordered this slow feeder last week!

My male Aussie picked it up quickly and actually has become very defensive over the slow feeder so much so that I had to separate them haha!

While it’d be easier to ignore the kid’s bathroom, I won’t do that to my guests, or my household, so I make sure it’s clean and tidy, even if it’s a little person who needs to come clean up their mess!

Being crunchy, I’ve learned that I won’t spend $$$ on body care that’ll just end up poured into the bathtub, so I’ve really liked Native lately!

It’s fairly clean, enough for the little bodies I love, without forsaking my wallet!

Over the past few years as I have thrown in my role as a modern homemaker, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting creative in the kitchen!

Usually for my Christmas or birthday, I will ask for a new cookbook (used or Thrifted for extra points)

I even have a friend who recently finished chef school, who was letting me borrow two of her cookbooks to test out a few recipes before I buy the book for myself.

Well, some seasons of my life I am able to put together a really fun meal for my husband and children, other nights look like macaroni and cheese and beef!

I do my best to not make the kitchen. Wait for my Littles to grow up before I utilize it to the best of its ability!

Someday, I’d love to pass these hooks down to my own kiddos with them ear marked, grease stained and all!

So in order to do that, I better get cooking!
