PRO tip: when you run out of ornaments, decorate with hair clips 🤭😂

I can’t believe it took me this long to decorate my home office/studio with its own Christmas tree but could this BE any more ME? I might just have to keep it year round!

This was so easy to assemble (unlike my family’s 28 year old one from White Rose😂) AND it was on sale. Tree + most of my ornaments are from @michaelsstores , tea advent calendar + mug and steeper from @davidstea , and bonnet from @keypbeautiful .

Honey, I’m so confident in this routine I can use products I’ve never tried and STILL get the results I want.

📣Say it with me: 👏PREP 👏STYLE 👏FINISH !!

1️⃣ prep. Clarifying shampoo to remove any buildup causing the hair to be stiffened. Then a deeply hydrating hair mask (really liking this one from @mane_____ !!)

For maaximum product penetration, turn the heat up and add some steam. @thesteambar has a microwaveable steam cap that stays warm for up to 20min.

Don’t use that cold water nonsense. Rinse your conditioner with warm water but also dont loaft after — start styling right away or at least apply your leave in conditioner while the hair is deeply nourished, layer on the moisture. I love a spray to thoroughly saturate my hair, and the @fentyhair the water boi is one of my go-to’s (also for its incredible scent)

2️⃣style. Pick your own adventure based on your texture. Coarse, thick hair that needs more control and cushioning, apply a curl cream. Then for more hold and body, apply a volumizing mousse if desired — you can also target 🎯specific areas of you don’t want too much mousse because aerosols are too drying. First time using @designmehair btw!

Fine haired curlies, you can skip the curl cream and just use mousse if you’ve properly prepped.

Brush style with the right tool according to your texture and desired results. I’m so obsessed with the new @bouncecurl volume brush I’m going to give them away to you!

Diffusing is non-negotiable if you want bounce. Minimize frizz and hair damage with my trustee @dysonbeauty supersonic r

3️⃣ finish. Use a hair oil/serum while the hair is dry, but not dried out* to actually help lock in the moisture and provide overall softness.

And if you’ve gone too soft off the deep end, apply hairspray or dry texture spray (this one is from @evahairnyc )

If it sounds like a lot I promise it’s not because do it once and do it right, it will last you 3+ nights (with the proper overnight protection @keypbeautiful )

Don’t follow any of these instructions if you want crunchy hair, but do follow me for more curly hair routines,
