I cannot get over the loveliness of this rug and how it has transformed our room. I’ve been slowly adding soft tones of blue and this rug was the perfect complement. The rug is low-pile, shed-free, easy-to-clean and affordable.

Revealing my latest design project - Amy @simplifybuffalo’s powder room! Watch my reel on Instagram for the before and after and Amy’s reaction! 🥹💙

When Amy explained her youngest had hit an important milestone and no longer needed a changing table 🥹 - I knew I could turn the page on this powder room and create something special!

I took inspiration from her existing light fixture and mirror, and created a coastal vibe that’s both elegant and nostalgic. The modern art above the new cabinet speaks to Amy’s family travels. We incorporated beloved family heirlooms from Amy’s grandmother and vintage finds (thanks to @goodwillwny) into a design that’s thoughtful, collected and deeply personal.
And of course - the star of the show - the wallpaper! I poured over wallpaper patterns until I came across this one and knew it would be perfect!

Wood polish we have and love - I use this on any and all of my wood furniture! It got nail polish off of my grandmother’s vanity table without damaging the wood whatsoever. It also smells great - I highly recommend!
