Cleaning supplies

At home spa day

Why meal prepping for six hours *including clean up* for my family of five one day a week is better than cooking dinner every night. 👩🏽‍🍳🍽️⬇️🔗
1. I’d rather clean up one big mess once than every single night. 1/2 the battle of cooking every night is cleaning up after.
2. Dinner is done, lunch is done. Which means I get back my evenings and afternoons. I now have more free time to do other things.
3. The mental load of thinking about what’s for dinner, forgetting to thaw meat, missing one ingredient, making sure I start dinner in time is gone…
4. My kids can eat as much as they want through out the whole day and they don’t have to rely on snacks

Meals for this week were:
- Beef & broccoli
- Chicken & rice + corn
- Chicken Alfredo + green beans
- Pot roast & rice
*picking one pan meals with veggies makes this way easier*
