Uniqlo trousers are so good at the moment.

There’s such a nice mix of linen, barrel leg, even the more relaxed hareem styles… and actually at a really good price point as well, which we don’t always see.

The colours are what’s really getting me though… it’s just starting to feel a bit more spring-like, isn’t it?

Trying on some new in pieces at Mint Velvet and these trousers immediately stood out, especially as they come with a matching top.

What I loved most is how easily they worked with what I was already wearing. Styled with my cream jumper, they felt instantly more transitional, which is exactly how I think about dressing this time of year.

They also worked just as well with a simple white t-shirt and as a full set it looks great both done up or worn more relaxed.

Finished with the shell flip flops, but just as easy to mix and match tuck in, leave out, or style the top separately with jeans.

I think I may have found the perfect blouse for spring.

It’s got those lovely puff sleeves which help broaden the shoulders (which is always great for balance) and a little tie at the neckline, so you can wear it open or closed depending on your bust.

You can also wear it tucked in or left out, so it works with lots of different outfits — maximum style, minimum effort.
Over on YouTube we’ve just shown this blouse on a size 8 and a size 12 with a much fuller bust than mine, so you can see how it works on different shapes.

An easy way to elevate a jogging set ✨

Jogging bottoms don’t have to be just for lounging around the house. One of the easiest tricks is simply swapping the hoodie for a more classic piece, a nice v-neck jumper, a wool coat, or a structured jacket.

That one change instantly makes the outfit feel more put-together, which means you can comfortably wear it out and about - whether you’re popping to the shops, travelling through the airport, or grabbing a coffee.

One small detail to remember: if you’re wearing trainers with your joggers, roll the bottom up slightly so you can see a bit of ankle. Showing that little bit of skin helps break up the outfit and keeps the silhouette looking nicely balanced.
It’s a small tweak, but it makes a big difference.

Want a shower-proof coat that isn’t mumsy?

This jacket is a great example of how modern coats have become so much more practical.

It’s shower resistant, has a detachable hood, and it’s one of those pieces that works brilliantly for everyday life - dog walks, coffee with friends, school runs… everything.
