These command strip hooks are the best. 5lbs each. Double up the hooks and make sure to press them down hard and leave them alone for several hours before hanging your garland.

I draped two garlands this year and one is off center so that it hangs fully to the floor on one side.

I also added battery twinkle lights, a velvet bow and some ornaments to the longer side.
