Favorite Denim

My favorite affordable denim is by Levi’s and they are on sale — 30% off most styles until Sunday!
No need to spend $200 on cute jeans!
I am wearing Levi’s 502 Taper Fit (they’re actually a men’s style but Levi’s are essentially unisex) in black.

I do find Levi’s sizing varies by style. I typically size up one waist size. One of the things I love about Levi’s is they are stocked in multiple lengths. These come in 30, 32 and 34. Mine pictured are 32 length but I could have gone with 30.
Some styles come in 28 which is ankle length.

I am tagging some of my other favorite styles below.

For a high-rise style I love the Ribcage Straight Ankle — size up one size.

Another great style for women is the 501 90s mid rise. I actually sized down in these.

If you’re a GenX gal like me, you probably owned Levi’s at some point. I cherished my 501 red tab, button fly as a 16 yo.💙

I love packing neutrals for travel. They are so easy to mix and match. My current favorite pant style for travel (somewhere warmish) is a crop pant with a slightly wide leg. So flattering. Mine are by Rag & Bone. I’m sharing similar styles.

What to wear on safari 🐘🦒🦓… I loved my capsule wardrobe of neutrals, it made getting dressed easy at 5:30 am (game drives start early🦁) . I got lots of wear out of this utility dress by Banana Republic. A belt and necklace jazzed it up for cocktail hour.

Yes, I’m stripe obsessed. This Sézane sweater, the Léontine, is a warm-weather staple and I wore it on a recent trip to California. The mid-weight cotton is also lovely for fall.

It’s still warm in Colorado in September but the evenings are cool. I love a cotton sweater over my shoulders for cooler temps. This striped sweater is the Leontine by Sézane, one of my favorites, I wear it spring, summer and fall.

Dressing for Paris in fall🍂. I packed classic pieces for layering that mixed and matched easily. It was a coolish but lovely day, about 58 degrees, and I this outfit was perfect. My fall shoes are by Vivaia and have cushioned soles — made for walking all day.

Vacation Outfit
I took my new trench coat on a vacation to Las Vegas this weekend. It was the perfect spring layer for weather in the 50s and 60s. Can you believe this isn’t in Paris?! It’s the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

My Athleta pants are ideal for travel - they feel like yoga pants but look like trousers. They are sold out in black so I’ve listed two similar options. My sunglasses are Longcahmp and I’m sharing a similar pair at Macy’s for a great price.
