This is the first of my emerging designer spotlight, reviewing the @verafied_official suede and leather hobo. I was so inspired by Wang’s story in how she was interested in creating a slow fashion brand with an emphasis on sustainability and a nod to 90’s minimalism. I am not saying I will never buy luxury again, but I have been enjoying researching and finding emerging brands and designers at reasonable price points for over a year and it’s been so much fun supporting small (and often) women/minority owned emerging brands and businesses. With all the buzz around perceived value of luxury brands, constant price increases and quality issues it’s been refreshing to discover so many beautiful silhouettes at competitive price points.
