Summer memories must always include making homemade ice cream or sorbets. I have such fond memories when I was a kid of taking turns churning the manual crank to get the best ice cream ever. My mom’s homemade vanilla ice cream I’ll be posting soon. The scissors I can’t live without! When setting up for a big market like our Mother’s Day high tea, with so many ribbons to cut, gardening, arranging real or faux florals, crafting & and food prep, this is the set I pack around with me. Our kitchen scissors have the wood pecan handle so the kids know they stay in the kitchen for cooking. Ribbon scissors must stay very sharp, so they are for fabric only!

Kitchen cabinet hardware links. I love using all unlacquered brass finish so that it will patina and age over time. You can use brasso or a lemon/baking soda paste to clean them up, but the finish is so authentic!
