Book Review of The One by John Marrs. LOVED this one. It was a page turner for me, and I was interested right from the first chapter. A “soulmate” gene has been discovered, and this story follows a handful of couples who have been matched. Each couple’s story had its own twists, making it exciting the whole way through. I was pretty invested in most of the couples, but I definitely had one or two favorite couples! The chapters are super short, which made it great to pick up when I had a few extra minutes (lots of natural starting/stopping points.
