Save to dinner folder: 32 oz cubed frozen hash browns 2 cups sour cream 2 cans cream of chicken soup 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup melted butter (for the casserole) 1/4 cup of yellow onion 1/4 cup melted butter (for the topping) 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 cups crushed cornflakes To make them, mix the hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, the 1/2 cup melted butter, salt, and pepper until combined. Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Combine the crushed cornflakes with the 1/4 cup melted butter, then sprinkle that evenly on top.
