✨ Pro tip: Hang artwork so the center is around 57-60 inches from the floor — that’s eye level for most people and the standard used in galleries and museums.

Don’t be afraid to go big in small spaces, mix frames for texture, or layer art for a lived-in, collected feel. The right placement can tie a room together and tell a story without saying a word.

I recently restyled some shelves for a friend of mine who’s a proud horse girl, so naturally, I wanted to incorporate elements that reflect her personality and passions. 🐴 For me, it’s all about layering—using decorative objects to elevate the overall aesthetic and bring a space to life. Every vase, sculpture, candle, piece of art, and figurine is carefully selected not just to match the room’s design, but to tell a story that’s personal to the client. While these items might not serve a practical function, they’re essential for setting the mood and adding texture, color, and character to an interior.
