Here’s my top tips to making your braids last days. 1 - Don’t scrimp on gel. You want to make sure to get gel over the majority of the scalp to help get those clean lines and tight look. I start with the edges and then part in the middle of the section I’m working on and apply more gel to get full coverage. 2 - Set with mousse. This is really important and gives the long lasting hold that you’ll need to keep them neat for days. 3 - Sleep in a bonnet. If it’s for kids, you can get them in the cutest patterns to help encourage them to keep them on but wearing a bonnet to bed will stop rubbing against the pillow and fluffing up the braids. If you can’t get a bonnet to work, try a satin pillowcases instead. I hope this helps. I’ve included UK and USA links below. LTKstyletip
