Part two of attempting to glow up and look less "like a prison lunch lady" as someone called me You angels left me lots of great makeup tips and both makeup and skincare recommendations so I spent WAY too much money and now we are going to try them out! Let’s get cute and go pick some strawberries! 🍓 NGL I’ve been struggling for a long time on this page to figure out what my “why” is. I felt so driven and focused when I first started and after 6 years, I felt like I lost it. Making these silly videos reminded me of the reason I started it back in 2020, to romanticize the mundane every day. To be creative and have fun, and to find people like me who felt like they didn’t see themselves on their feeds. Although I’m no longer focused on my body (I’m not really focused on any one thing tbh) I think feeling connected to real people is still hugely important. Even if we aren’t mandated to stay in our houses, ngl, I’m still lonely and want to find community in this little (what mostly feels like) doom box in my hands.

Feeling seen, understood, and part of something even when you’re alone is still important and I hope you still find that in this tiny corner of the internet. 💛🍓

Fits impressions of my new shorts from Old Navy! I am between a size 14 and 16 and there was minimal spandex in these so I ordered a 16 and I’m so glad I did. There is still some room in the waist, but just enough that walking and sitting down doesn’t suck.

I didn’t realize how much energy I was spending trying to “break in” sandals every summer, trying my hardest to make them work until I inevitably gave up and donated them because pain is never worth the look. These sandals from @wydrstudios are ACTUALLY cute AND wide foot friendly so I don’t have to buy new shoes while I’m walking around because they are too painful to wear a minute longer (true story).

It’s that time of year again where I need to dress like a human! I’m going to need 1 travel fit, 2 working day fits (aiming for “cool girl working in the city”), and 1 outfit for a cocktail hour. Lots of “maybes” this time around… and I missing anything? Should I have gotten the shorts or the dress?

(Gifted) I get pretty extreme travel anxiety just traveling by myself, but you throw a toddler in the mix and I feel the need to be sedated. I honestly avoid travel because of the hassle of getting to where we need to go with a toddler and their 700 belongings. Last time we flew with George he we strapped him into his car seat and used a dolly to wheel him through the airport and although it worked, it would absolutely not now that he’s bigger. I always thought bringing a stroller would be too much of a faf because it would cost more to check and be just another thing we had to combat, but then I saw the @momcozy TuckGo Lightweight Stroller and was willing to give it a shot. Fancy event coming up? Feeling overwhelming dread? Put the 3rd cup of caffeine down, drink some water (for the first time today), and slip into some @vertvie_official !! Taste testing the new Chobani creamers! The chocolate and strawberry is defo my fav, but if you like rose, the raspberry rose is nice too! It’s VERY sweet, which I don’t love, but the flavors are very BIG so it’s not just gross sweet with no distinct flavor
