As a Type C mom, I don’t need perfect… I just need it to work 😅 I wanted a bin where I can’t see the clothes, but still know exactly what’s inside once I open it. (It’s also labelled on the bin)

I swapped traditional vacuum-seal bags for these Amazon storage bags and I’m obsessed. They stack perfectly inside the bin (no weird bulging), and I can fit 7 bags in one bin 🙌 Way easier, cleaner, and more functional.

Finished it off with a label maker so I know what’s in each bag without overthinking it ✨

I found the prettiest arch desk and it’s on sale and has a beautiful natural oak finish!

I knew I wanted a lighter sofa in this space, but I know the work that comes with it. Especially since we have a dog (goldendoodle) and a one year old!

We chose a performance fabric which will definitely help with spills but the covers can be removed and washed 👏

Here are five effective ways to keep a light-colored sofa looking fresh and clean:

1. Vacuum Regularly: Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust, crumbs, and pet hair. This prevents dirt from settling deeper into the fabric.

2. Spot Clean Spills Immediately: For spills, blot (don’t rub) with a clean cloth to absorb as much liquid as possible, then use a fabric-safe cleaner to treat the area. Test any cleaner in an inconspicuous spot first to avoid discoloration.

3. Use Slipcovers or Throws: If the sofa is heavily used or in a high-traffic area, consider using washable slipcovers or stylish throws. They protect the upholstery and can be cleaned regularly. I personally don’t want a slipcover because I want to enjoy the sofa as it is, so I use throw blankets. It’s a personal preference!

4. Rotate Cushions: Rotating and flipping cushions regularly distributes wear evenly, helping to prevent specific spots from becoming worn or discolored.

5. Get it professionally cleaned: Having it cleaned by a professional each season will help with maintenance, but using an upholstery cleaner like the little green is a great option as well.

If you struggle with the clutter of toys I really like these bins from @hm I can hide my daughters toys in them and they look cute as decor.

It also takes away from the visual clutters because let’s face it, some toys are just not nice to look at - so hide it in a bin.
