Color of the season: burgundy. Whether you’re looking for burgundy, merlot, oxblood, chianti - the wine color is getting a lot of attention this season.

The color may be trending at the moment, but it’s not going to be a waste of your money if you invest in it right now. Bonus for me and other burgundy lovers, this just happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear (and it’s usually the only shade on my nails post summer), so I don’t consider this a passing trend.

We had a family event last weekend and half of us were wearing something in that color, which made for a really cohesive impromptu family photo!

All the varieties of this color look great with the staples that are most likely already hanging in your closet. Black, white, grey, brown - add a pop of this deep, fall inspired color & you’re good to go. She’d also look lovely paired with pink, gold, or mustard.
