My bougainvillea usually grows like a bush, but I’m trying to shape it into more of a tree with a nice canopy. I gave it a heavy trim yesterday, and I think it looks so pretty—it really opened up the space! Now my hibiscus will finally get some sunlight. I planted them way too close together, so it’s been in the shade for a long time. Most of the bougainvillea is actually growing into my neighbor’s yard... I’m guessing he doesn’t mind? Lol!
