When starting seeds indoors - this is key! Get your soil wet BEFORE you plant. Planting seeds in soil straight out of the bag and then watering will displace your seeds. Get yourself a bowl, dump your soil and add water. Mix well, you want your soil wet enough that it clumps together but doesn’t have dripping water when you squeeze it.
