Tried King Spa & Sauna thinking I was a naked mom… turns out I’m only comfortable in my own house 😅But listen… once you get past that initial shock, it’s actually so relaxing. Different saunas, body scrubs, food, the whole experience. Just… be ready 😂

Compression has been a non-negotiable for my lipedema surgery recovery… but I had to find what actually worked for my body.

The standard thigh garment (with the slit) was a no for me… it rubbed my incisions, so I switched to Bestster and never looked back.

For my arms, I came home with ace bandages. Tried my pre-op arm garment but it irritated my underarms. Around 2 weeks post-op I switched to tubular bandages… way more comfortable.

Now I rotate daily:
• Fanka (my fave but $$$)
• Spanx (love that they pass as leggings)
• Slimove (budget-friendly)

Scar care:
• Tape at 2 weeks once fully closed with thighs
• Gel at 4 weeks
• Just starting tape on my arms now that my underarms finally closed .

Y’all know…there’s no cure for lipedema… compression is a lifestyle now. Sharing what’s been working for me 🖤
